There is also one important rule:
Do not attempt to sell a phone that has been reported lost or stolen, has an active finance restriction, or remains locked to somebody else's account.
Missing paperwork and unclear ownership are two very different things.
Check 2: Confirm the Exact Model, Storage and IMEI
Without the original box, you should double-check the phone itself.
Do not guess whether your device is:

And do not select a similar-looking model simply because you cannot remember its exact name.

Do not focus so much on finding the missing bill that you forget the information stored inside the phone.
Before handing over any device, back up everything you want to keep.
